My Quest for Glory 1 Cheats EGA & VGA
Remember, cheats may be fun to use, but they do take away from the gaming experience. Also remember that cheats can screw up your game and cause crashes. I am not accountable for any problems that occur from using these cheats.
The Quest for Glory I VGA Cheats are at the bottom of the page.
To turn the cheat codes ON type in "razzle dazzle root beer" at any time during the game.
1. Controls: use the ALT key in combination with one of the uppercase letters below to edit skills, stats, and money. The highest value you can set these for is 9911, but I suggest not setting it over 999. The highest value that will import to the next Quest for glory games is 100. Any thing above this value will produce a mixed up character when you import to another game.
1. Controls (type in the uppercase letter while holding in ALT).
B - This will change the amount of silvers you have, up to 9911.
C - This will change the color of the screen to weird colors. (ALT-V turns it off)
E - This displays the ego status.
I - This will add things into your inventory. (see list below for id numbers)
K - This will change one skill/stat of yours. (see list below for id numbers)
M - This displays the memory status.
P - This makes the color weird as in ALT-C. (ALT-V turns it off)
S - This shows the movable things on the screen(?), like ALT-E.
T - This will teleport you to any location in the game (see list below for room no.)
V - This turns off the effects of ALT-C and ALT-P
X - This changes every skill/stat to 80.
2. Skill/Stat Numbers. (for ALT-K) The maximum is 9911. Recomended value is 999. For importing to next Quest for Glory Game recomended value is 100.

11 & 86 (that were not listed) bring you into the forest. 11 starts in the most NE
corner, 1 south and 2 west of Erana's garden, to the right of that screen is 12, and so
on. When they can't go any farther to the right, they drop down to the next row.
Lockpick Cheat:
Type "pick nose".
You lockpicking skill should rise.
Note: This can kill you character, so SAVE berfore trying.
Quest For Glory I VGA Cheats:
Infinite Money Cheat
Description: The Infinite Money Cheat (otherwise known as the Mushroom Cheat) is a wonderful
way to get TONS OF CASH!
Step 1: Go to the Mushroom Ring and position the hand cursor over some mushrooms.
Step 2: Use a small rock or paperweight to hold the Enter key down (and pick up lots of
mushrooms).
Step 3: When you get too laden down with mushrooms, head to the Healer's Hut and sell her all the
mushrooms (click the mushroom cursor on her repeatedly). Ignore her when she tells you she has all
the mushrooms she needs.
Notes: Even though the Healer says she has all the mushrooms she needs, she doesn't stop buying
them from you.
Lockpick Cheat
Description: An easy way to raise lockpicking skills as a theif.
Step 1: Make SURE your lockpicking skill is greater than or equal to 40. Otherwise, you will die
when performing this cheat.
Step 2: Click the lockpick on yourself repeatedly.
Step 3: Watch your lockpicking skills soar.
Notes: I can't stress this enough! Make sure your lockpicking skill is 40 or above, and make sure
you save your game before you attempt this cheat! Also, this has only been tested for thieves.
